The oil seal, commonly known as the "oil seal", is the key to ensuring that the lubricating oil in mechanical equipment does not leak. From simple structures to complex applications, oil seals have shown their extraordinary value on many levels. First of all, in terms of type, oil seals are mainly divided into single-body and assembled types. The single-body oil seal design is relatively simple, while the assembled oil seal provides higher flexibility, and its skeleton and lip materials can be freely combined for special environments and needs. This diversity in design enables oil seals to adapt to various complex mechanical systems.
However, the role of oil seals is far more than just sealing lubricating oil. From a broader perspective, oil seals are a general term for dynamic and static seals in mechanical systems. In the rotating shaft lip seal, we usually call it "oil seal", while in the static seal and general reciprocating seal, we call it "seal". TC oil seal is a representative form of oil seal. This double-lip oil seal with self-tightening spring fully covered with rubber has become the first choice in many mechanical equipment with its excellent sealing performance and durability. Its unique design enables the oil seal to automatically adjust the tightness of the lip when under pressure, thereby ensuring the complete sealing of the lubricating oil. Some high-end oil seals have begun to use nano materials and special coating technologies to improve their wear resistance, corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance. The application of these new technologies enables the oil seal to maintain a stable sealing effect even in extreme environments, thereby ensuring the continuous and stable operation of the mechanical system.

In modern mechanical design, more and more designers are beginning to pay attention to the environmental performance and resource utilization efficiency of oil seals.
